Share your glimmer of light!

Trying to forget 2020? Oh yes, same here. But DON’T forget that there were some good things that happened to us this year too! Let’s put our heads together and come up with a list of small but good things to make us smile as 2020 passes – thank goodness – into history.

What was your small but good thing this year? Do tell! It will do everyone good to see some points of light!

Sharon from Modsupport learned to make masks. (Who would have thought that would ever be a good thing?). Seenie got into sourdough bread baking, and she’s got the waistline to prove it. TJ made his sister very happy by doing some home improvements for her.

From all of us, warm wishes to you and yours in the coming year and always.

Well, it’s 2021 now and it seems this mess is not going to end anytime soon. However, we still have little glimmers (as you call them). Babies are born, puppies still give sloppy kisses, rainbows still appear and trees still turn colors in the fall. Some days I focus on the rain, some days I search for the blooms that it brings (those days tend to be better). Let’s get this string going, what do you focus on to have better days?

I am a teacher and last school year 20-21, was the strangest year I have ever taught. BUT, we made it. I had the greatest group of kids. My oldest granddaughter had a serious ATV crash and was airlifted due to a head injury. She has absolutely no lasting issues. Thank you Lord. My youngest granddaughter was born in October of 2020, and my grandson remains a happy and healthy child. There are many more glimmers and I’m thankful for each of them.
